Portia joined the Core team in 2025. With over 11 years of experience in customer service, including 8 years across the Insurance, Banking, and Financial Services sectors she brings a wealth of industry knowledge and a client-first approach to her work.

She has experience working as a Financial Advisor in New Zealand and is deeply passionate about improving financial literacy for her clients and the wider community. Her approach is grounded in education, empowerment, and building long-term financial confidence.

Portia holds the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) in Life, Disability, and Health Insurance, along with RG146 Tier 2 accreditation in Banking and Financial Services. She is currently undertaking her Masters in Financial Planning with Kaplan Professional, and a clear goal of progressing toward becoming a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).

Known for her ability to multitask effectively, she balances professional excellence with her personal role as a dedicated mum of three, bringing empathy, resilience, and real-world understanding to every client interaction.
